Bodega Sangiorgio & Fornari
The winery Sangiorgio & Fornari was born in the union of two families of Italian descent. This winery has a strong conviction that the production of wine is an art form. Consequently they produce very elegant wines. The winery is situated in the Cruz de Piedra area in Mendoza province, which is the main wine region in Argentina.

Tiberius Malbec 2002

This wine is a noble one and an excellent expression of this varietal. The year 2002 harvest was of an outstanding quality. Its fermentation was in contact with selected yeast. Its temperature was kept under control in order to maintain the colour and natural flavour of the grape. It was later bred in contact with oak for 12 months. Tiberius Malbec is a harmonious, structured wine of a deep, intense purple red colour. ´This wine has a bouquet of dried fruits, plums, toast and chocolate. On the palate, it is silky and pleasant, with delicate fruity overtones of truffles and dried plums, with an excellent finish.
Tiberius Cabernet Sauvignon 2002

Here we have an excellent example of the cabernet sauvignon of the Mendoza province. Fermentation was performed under controlled temperatures to maintain its natural colour and flavour. It is elaboration in contact with French oaks which gives complex aromas. Tiberius Cabernet Sauvignon is a deep-red coloured wine with shades of ruby. Its bouquet is of forest fruits, truffles, fruits in alcohol, and bitter chocolate. On the palate, it is soft, fresh and round, with hints of cocoa, spices and aromas of hard woods. It is a lasting, well-balanced, complex wine with an excellent finish.
Tiberius Chardonnay 2005

This is an excellent example of the Mendoza chardonnay. Fermentation was performed under controlled temperatures to maintain its natural colour and flavour. At the same time, specific care was taken to both keep the primary aromas of the fruits, and the secondary aromas after fermentation. This wine's elaboration in contact with French and American oaks results in complex aromas. It has a greenish colour with gold reflections. The wine smells of tropical fruits, with a touch of vanilla and toast, furnished by the breeding in contact with French and American oak. On the palate, it is harmonious, well-rounded, with plenty of body and equilibrium, with a delicate acidity that gives the wine its vivid flavours. It is a very pleasant wine.
